BAND BIO
Michele and the Midnight Blues can be heard on many blues radio stations throughout the U.S.A., Europe, parts of Asia, Australia and Argentina to name a few.

In the span of a few months they went from a local band in the Southeastern US, to a band heard all over the world in part thanks to the 2006 International Blues Challenge and thanks to their 1st commercial CD release Eyes Set To Midnight. Their song 'Better than I' is getting airplay on rock and adult contemporary stations. The cross over airplay has been a welcome surprise.

Sales have been tracked across the states, in to Canada, across the 'pond' to Europe, and several ponds over to Australia.

Born from weekly blues jams in Wilmington, NC. Actress Michele Seidman followed CFBS jams through multiple locations and venues for a decade, singing in every location. By the year 2000 she felt strong enough to form a band and you guessed it, she found most of the players through blues jams including, Madison Bunting on guitar, Wayne Dean on Bass and Tony Mallard on drums (his step son Dane Britt sits in now and then).

They do a rock ’n blues show with their original tunes and renditions of covers that books bars, nightclubs and festivals
in the South Eastern US.

Then there is the storytelling show with only original songs and the stories behind them that has played theatres and cabarets.

They have entertained crowds at the NC Azalea Festival, the Cape Fear Blues Festival, Celebrate the Arts Festival, The Low Country Blues Bash, the International Blues Challenge, and The National Women in Blues Festival to name a few.

The band won 1st place in the 2005 Cape Fear Blues Challenge which sent them to the 2006 IBC in Memphis. They won the Beat Wammies award for Best Self Produced CD in 2005 for Eyes set to Midnight. It sold out the first run in two weeks!

The 2nd CD A Night of Storytelling has been reviewed from coast to coast in the states! There was a delay in the 3rd CD Sunshine Baby but it is almost finished now for a 2008 release.

Michele and the Midnight Blues have been called a vastly talented crew who are the "perfect compliment to their singer and they love to perform". Dubbed by the press “Wildly popular in South Eastern, NC”, they are known to do a variety of blues styles (Memphis, Chicago, Texas, New Orleans, Cali and more) and they take pride in converting people to the genre.

They live up to one of their motto's "Blues is more than cry in your beer music".
